Gaia Solar aspires to live up to a high degree of Corporate Social Responsibility. We be-lieve that the Company should take a high degree of responsibility for employees, the en-vironment and for the society that we are a part of. We will go to great lengths to ensure that we take social responsibility and that we mean what we say.
Gaia Solar has installed solar panels on the company’s roof and façade. This is partly to protect the environment by producing free electricity for our night lighting of facades etc., partly to test new prototypes as a part of our innovation.
We have high internal requirements for an optimal physical and psychological working environment for our employees and have thus achieved a green smiley from the Danish Working Environment Authority - without any demerits.
Gaia Solar is proud of their social responsibility and has built up a long and close collabo-ration with Hvidovre Municipality’s employment office, where the company often offers work in our production department to some of the most vulnerable members of the labour market. Be it people with a need for light jobs, citizens with different ethnic backgrounds, people with handicaps or others who need an added boost in life.
