PSO funds allocated to the Gaia Solar consortium.

Together with a consortium of manufacturers and modular housing developers, Gaia Solar has been leading the application for funds from PSO (Public Service Obligations) for research funding to develop future modular housing with integrated solar cell panel technology. After the application deadline on the 19 September 2008, ForskVE (Research within Sustainable Energy) has now had an opportunity to assess the incoming project applications for research funds and has on this basis, chosen the Gaia Solar consortium as eligible for funding. The project was selected despite fierce competition with 19 other applicants for the VE (Sustainable Energy) fund. The project gets out of the starting blocks in 2009 with an expected completion date of early 2010.
