Tivoli has spent a lot of time trying to minimise energy consumption in the garden. Dong Energy has assisted Tivoli in the context of its extensive experience in energy saving strategies. Tivoli chose to erect a small solar module instal-lation on the machine building of the “Caravan” as a visible proof of its intentions. The solar panels act as a kind of outer envelope and therefore comprises the roof construction. Gaia Solar has a special roofing system for this pur-pose, “Sol Sort”. To see the facility one needs a ticket for either the “Caravan” or for “The Golden Tower”. Thus the experience of seeing the solar installation can be combined with a thrilling ride!
